Ingredients in the foods

Display the video Les Ingrédients des Plats. As each ingredient appears, students try to guess which item is being prepared.

Students follow the directions in this online activity to prepare food.

Sorting the Foods

Announce the categories into which the students will sort the food. They use their vocabulary cards to create piles by category. Then students use their piles as a point of conversation with their partner. Model the first pair of categories with the whole class.
